There are a lot of things\nthat can be studied about the kingdom of God. However, knowing that the kingdom\nof God is the person of the Holy Spirit is germane to your understanding of the\nkingdom. God helped me to see the Holy Spirit as not just the power but as the\npower person of the Godhead. He is a person to relate with, and if you are\ngoing to make the kingdom of God your focus this year, I would like to help you\nsee how critical spending time to know him is to your success.<\/p>
In Luke 17:20, Jesus was\nasked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God should come. His response was, \u201cthe\nkingdom of God is within you.\u201d The implication of this statement was that he\nwas the kingdom person among them. Before his ascension, he spoke to his\ndisciples about things pertaining to the kingdom of God and how they should\nwait in Jerusalem for the promise of the Father, which is the baptism with the\nHoly Spirit. Incidentally, Acts 1:6 records the disciples asking Jesus if he\nwould at that time restore the kingdom to Israel again. In his response, he emphasized, \u201cIt is not for\nyou to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own\npower. But ye shall receive power, after\nthat the Holy Ghost is come upon you\u2026\u201d<\/strong> Jesus was the kingdom personality\nwhen he walked on the earth, and if the kingdom had to continue with his\ndeparture, he had to introduce another Kingdom personality just like him.<\/p> Romans 14:17 KJV<\/p> For the kingdom of God is\nnot meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.<\/p> This implies that the Holy\nSpirit is the kingdom and the womb into the kingdom. Jesus told Nicodemus, \u201cExcept\na man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of\nGod.\u201d The Spirit of God personifies the kingdom. The kingdom is the dominion\nand absolute rule of God. It is the place where God\u2019s absolute rule is\nunchallenged and unquestioned. Whenever the kingdom is manifested, contrary\ncircumstances are subdued. Jesus said in Matthew 12:28, \u201cBut if I cast out\ndevils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.\u201d When\nthe Spirit of God, the power person of the Godhead, is engaged, embraced and\nallowed to operate, there will be dominion, and the power of God will be seen.<\/p> Your Active Wisdom<\/strong> <\/p> Jesus told his disciples,\n\u201cAnd when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the\nauthorities, do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you\nshould say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought\nto say.\u201d In other words, the Holy Spirit becomes your active wisdom. This can\nonly happen when you fellowship with him and press into him. When he becomes\nyour active wisdom, there is no challenge that can overwhelm you and no situation\nthat can make you commit suicide. When he becomes your active wisdom, you are\nmore than able to resolve any challenge you are confronted with.<\/p> Luke 4:1, 14<\/p> And Jesus being full of\nthe Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the\nwilderness\u2026<\/p> And Jesus returned in the\npower of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all\nthe region round about.<\/p> Unlocking the Power through Fellowship<\/strong><\/p> It took forty days and\nforty nights for Jesus to unlock the power of the Holy Spirit. He entered the\nwilderness full of the Spirit. Yet, the scriptures had no account of him being\nfull of power prior to his return from the wilderness after forty days and\nnights. As the God incarnate, he waited thirty years to be full of the Spirit,\nand when he was full of the Spirit, he isolated himself to fellowship with this\nSpirit he had been filled with. His theme in the wilderness was the fellowship\nwith the fullness he had received. In verse 14 of the same chapter, he returned\nin the power; he had unlocked the power of the Holy Spirit through solitary\nintimacy and fellowship. He unlocked the power of the Holy Spirit through\nuninterrupted fellowship and maintained it through daily communion with God. God\u2019s\ninheritance and blessing for you is not houses and cars but the Holy Spirit.\nThe blessing of God is to bring you to a place where dominion is unlocked\nthrough fellowship with the Spirit. When this happens you can buy without money\nand live where there is no life. If you would commit to unbridled attention and\nunbroken fellowship with God, you will return with company \u2013 he is called the\nHoly Spirit, the power person of the Godhead.<\/p> Rule and Subdue the Earth.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" There are a lot of things that can be studied about the kingdom of God.
